About
Federico Parra Barrios is an independent type designer based in Berlin, Germany. He studied type design at the Cooper Union in New York and the Atelier National de Recherche Typographique (ANRT) in Nancy, France. His work reflects curiosity about perception and materiality in typography. He has found inspiration in sculpture, photography, image reproduction, among other fields. He treats type design as both a functional tool and a medium for artistic experimentation. He is the author of the typefaces Exposure, Hour, and Lost, published by 205TF.
