FAQs

This page explains how my font licensing works and applies only to fonts purchased directly from this website. This FAQ is a summary; the full End User License Agreement (EULA) governs all legal rights and obligations. If you buy my fonts through another distributor, their licensing terms apply.

Who needs a license?

A license must be held by the company or individual using the font. Agencies, freelancers, or collaborators can use the font under a client's license, but only for that specific project. Companies or studios using the font for internal projects or branding need their own license.

How is the license priced?

Licenses are based on company size (number of employees). One license covers all uses within the licensed company. You can upgrade your license anytime if your company grows.

What if my company grows beyond my license tier?

If your company exceeds the employee count for your current license, please upgrade to the appropriate tier. Contact me if you need assistance determining which license tier is right for you.

What types of use are covered?

A license covers web, app, print, ebooks, logos, video, broadcast, and other standard design uses within the licensed company. Licenses are not transferable to other companies or clients.

Can I use the font for client work?

Yes. If you're an agency or freelancer, you can use the font for client projects under your client's license (if they have one), or your clients must purchase their own license for ongoing use. If you're a freelancer working with multiple clients, you may purchase one license to use across your client projects, but clients cannot continue using the font after project delivery without their own license.

Can I embed fonts in PDFs or documents?

Yes, you can embed fonts in PDF files and documents for distribution. This is considered standard use under your license.

Can I use the font in templates or products I sell?

No. You cannot redistribute the font files in templates, themes, or products that you sell or give away. End users of your templates must purchase their own license. If you need to create a product that includes the fonts, please contact me for a custom license.

Can students get a license?

Students may purchase a student license, valid for the duration of their studies and for educational use only.

Can I modify the fonts?

You may modify font outlines for your own designs (e.g., logos), but you may not rename, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the font files themselves. Technical subsetting or standard web embedding is allowed. For custom versions, please contact me to request a custom license.

Which font formats are available?

Fonts are provided in OTF, TTF, WOFF, and WOFF2 formats.

Are there known software limitations?

Please note that PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, and Adobe After Effects may have limited or inconsistent support for advanced OpenType features and variable fonts. These are software limitations, not font file issues.

Do you offer refunds?

Fonts are digital goods and cannot be returned, so I do not offer refunds. Please ensure the font meets your needs before purchasing.

Are there discounts for non-profits?

Non-profit organizations may request a discount by contacting me directly.
